Ethicon Vicryl VP2346 is a high-quality absorbable surgical suture made from Polyglactin 910, designed for reliable soft tissue approximation and wound closure in various surgical fields. Being synthetic and braided, it offers smooth handling, secure knotting and minimal tissue drag. The Triclosan antibacterial coating helps reduce the risk of surgical site infections, making it particularly suitable for clean as well as clean-contaminated surgical procedures. This suture comes in USP 0 size, 90cm length, and includes a 40mm 1/2 Circle Round Body (RB) needle. It is sterile (EO sterilized) and violet in color for easy visibility during surgery.
Vicryl VP2346 is widely used across General Surgery, Gastrointestinal procedures, Gynecology and Obstetrics including C-Section and uterine closure, along with subcutaneous and muscular layer closure, laparotomy, hernia repair, trauma surgery and routine OT wound closure. Its absorbable nature eliminates the need for suture removal post-healing, offering both patient comfort and post-operative convenience. Surgeons prefer Vicryl VP2346 for its excellent knot security, tensile strength, predictable absorption profile, smooth tissue passage and overall reliability during wound support and healing.
This product is suitable for Hospitals, OT procurement units, Nursing Homes, Surgical Clinics, Distributors, Bulk Medical Buyers and Government Tender Supply. It is a trusted suture choice for surgical wound management where dependable closure and antibacterial protection are required.
